The Agriturismo disposes of six apartments, expertly derived from an ancient cottage dating back to the eighteenth century. The style, extremly welcoming, but at the same time refined and detailed, fits in with the landscape, producing an high and seducing acctractivness for our visitors: stone walls, exposed wooden beams, wrought-iron beds and railings, interior and exterior floors in terracotta tiles or pietra serena, all according to the very best of the Tuscan tradition. The cottage is sorrounded by a splendid garden with spaces zoned for barbecue. The panorama is suggestive, typical of the Tuscan hills, with a view of the Valdarno. Available to guests, there is also a tennis court covered with synthetic grass, a pool sorrounded by wide open spaces. Guests may also find our restaurant very close to the apartments and therein benefit from breakfast and dinner, running into our suggestions of the flavors and the aromas of the typical Toscan cuisine
Agriturismo Petrognano is immersed in the heart of Tuscan nature, olive groves and orchards can be reached in 30 minutes by car from Florence old town. The agricultural holding has been family-owned since 1979 and it extends for 100 hectares.

Our restoration area, recently restored, offers breakfast services exclusively to our guests. A chance to taste the typical local food, while immersed in the splendor of the Tuscan countryside, between tradition and creativity.

”Lovely place”, said our 1 year old son, when we arrived, and he is definitely right. So peacuful place, where you can ”live like a local”, but if you need help, you’ll get it right away. Niccolò was very helpful and made us feel like we are home. The apartment was perfect: It was very clean, and it was lovely to cook in the kitchen and eat outside staring at the sunset. The pool was amazing, and there is good tennis court also. Already planning a new trip!

Lovely pool within a garden where you can relax and get away or have fun in the water with your children. Stunning sunsets and beautiful starry night skies. Delicious home cooked dinners can be requested in advance. Large rooms, living areas and outdoor dining. This area is a more natural and raw area of Tuscany with lots of appeal within easy and cheap train ride of Florence or Arezzo. Niccolò and his family have lots of great recommendations for activities, site seeing and delicious restaurants in the area.

We had 4 wonderful nights at Agriturismo Petrognano. Niccolo's hospitality exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse accommodations were everything we hoped for - spacious, quiet, peaceful, relaxing. With only a 5 minute drive to the San' Ellero train station, this place was perfect for accessing Florence as well as for touring the villages of Tuscany. Niccolo went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. He was extremely responsive and offered many suggestions for places to see, eat, visit and explore. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Niccolo for making our trip to Italy a great one!

A beautiful and aesthetically designed outfit, run by Nico and team with an astounding sense of hospitality. The apartments are very spacious with lounges overlooking some stunning landscapes. A blissful place to unwind and just enjoy nature. secluded, yet easily accessible to town. Though nearby places were awesome to visit, we were happy to stay put in this wonderful paradise. Another high of our visit was meeting Benelli,Nico's father, past gold medallist in Athens olympics (skeet) , a genial and joyful person with enormous values in ensuring customer satisfaction. A place not to be missed
